Sakarya University Advanced Technologies Center(SAITEM) participated in TUBITAK FORMULA G Race 2006(Solar Energy Car Race) with SAGUAR X5 type car. Tırsan Lojistik was the official sponsor of SAITEM who won the first place in group category and the second place in general category. It was an excellent and contentious race. First ten tours there was an excellent contest between Sakarya University-SAGUAR, İTÜ-Arıba and ODTÜ-TEK. SAGUAR X5 was the favourite car of Formula G 2006.
